Born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, PJ, born Paul J. Miller Jr., spent his early years soaking up the history and architecture around town with weekend trips to the Upper East Side. From early on PJ’s family allowed him to demo and reconstruct aspects and rooms throughout their house allowing his creativity to flourish. He studied Business Management and Economics at Washington College while on the Varsity Sailing Team. Located in Chestertown, Maryland - this historic, colonial town offered inspiration from the late 1700's and early 1800’s when George Washington founded the school in 1782.
PJ’s interiors are both exciting and classic. He draws inspiration from Marie Antoinette and the lifestyle of Versailles while also taking note from design inspiration including Frank di Biasi, Jorge Elias and Jonathan Adler. His enriched family history provides inspiration for elevation and luxurious materials to surround oneself in the highest quality of products. He spent six months in East Hampton after graduation in 2014 working and training with Ralph Lauren to better understand the luxurious American lifestyle with Parisian flair.
While working for Alexander Wang, PJ traveled throughout the United Kingdom and Paris - getting lost amongst the history and beauty but also reflecting on modern society and the needs of the present day. PJ’s focus in life and for his clientele is to provide a successful transition into one’s routine to justify and compliment day to day needs.
